CNS’ reports are especially easy to follow and more importantly, full of hundreds of millions of dollars in projects. They provide our subcontractors with the information they need to get their plans quickly enough to allow ample time for estimating. Partnering with CNS is a WIN-WIN for generals and subcontractors alike.”

Irish Construction Co. will be hosting an open house to celebrate the highly anticipated completion of the MSU Surplus Store and Recycling Center on Wednesday, August 13th, 2009. This 65,000 square foot LEED certified project broke ground during June 2008. Upon completion, this facility will deliver unprecedented resources for the MSU campus and surrounding community to reduce, reuse, and recycle. The building construction itself utilized a broad array of green technologies and sustainable design, including grey water recapture and reuse systems, photo voltaic energy generation, and various pollution-reducing porous pavements, all of which will be highlighted during a guided tour. Admission is free and all are welcome.

Directions:

The MSU Surplus Store is located in East Lansing near the corner of Farm Lane and Incinerator Drive. To avoid current construction, approach the site from the west, taking the Trowbridge Rd exit (#9) off of US 127. Turn right (south) on Harrison, and then a left (east) on Service Rd. Go past the Steam Plant and look to the right (south) for signs into the new site.
